At 10:08 p.m., a Toyota vehicle was traveling westbound on Route 80 in Knowlton Township when the driver lost control, ran off the roadway and struck a tree, Sgt. Charles Marchan of the New Jersey State Police said.
The two children were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries, Marchan said. The crash remains under investigation, Marchan said.
